Sunawachi chose Kosandou, a glove maker in Kagawa Prefecture, as its first collaboration product. Kagawa Prefecture is a famous glove production area, producing 90% of domestically produced gloves.
Among them, Kosando produces well-fitting gloves, mainly for motorcycles, in a wide range of sizes, over 30 in total.

These leather gloves incorporate the know-how cultivated to fulfill the contradictory functions of keeping motorcyclists warm and providing delicate fingertip control, making them suitable for use in town.

The result is an exquisite balance between cold weather gloves for town use and the wildness of work gloves.

The leather color is only black, but it is made from cowhide and deerskin (this is the deerskin type with an external stitching).
Made from 1.5mm thick deerskin with external stitching so the seams do not touch your fingers.

The basic construction (other than the lining material and leather padding) is the same as that of motorcycle helmets, so it is somewhat rugged.

This season's model has ribbed wrists to keep out the cold and keep you very warm.

You can choose from three rib colors: black, chocolate, and camel.

The leather used is specially treated to be compatible with the touchscreens of smartphones and tablets.
Although it's difficult to type with gloves on, you should be able to answer a call quickly. This isn't for walking while using your smartphone.

The lining of both the deerskin and cowhide is made of Mitsubishi Rayon's "Premier Warm," a moisture-wicking and heat-retaining material that feels soft against the skin. You'll feel the softness and warmth.

①Measure your hand length from the tip of your middle finger to the crease of your wrist.
② Measure the "hand circumference" by measuring horizontally around the palm of your hand with your hand naturally open.
3. Measure the length of your middle finger. This is important because the middle finger of the gloves is measured in 2.5mm increments.
It's easier to get an accurate reading if you have someone measure it for you.

When ordering, please enter your actual measurements in the "Inquiry" section during the purchase process in the following order: hand length, hand circumference, and middle finger. We recommend that you write them down so you don't forget.

⇒Using the actual measurements and referring to the correspondence table, Sunawachi will determine the appropriate glove size ("Glove hand length estimated from middle finger length (Figure 1)" and "Hand length/hand circumference size (Figure 2)").

For example, if your middle finger is 80 mm, your hand length is 175 mm.
This is the tendency of Japanese hands, which Kosando has learned from its past experience. The ratio of the middle finger to the length of the hand is set at 46%.
